TV and Webseries Encyclopedia (I-L)
I-L. In terms of impact and raising awareness of lesbianism in society, no other TV show (or film even) has been more significant than “The L Word”. It is diverse, passionate, meaningful, dramatic, and unapologetic in its depiction of lesbian relationships. There is some argument that the actresses were a bit too beautiful to be regular people but hey, this is TV folks. It spawned a spinoff as well, but that didn’t take off nearly as well as the original. However, there are many other great shows and webseries to choose from though so take a look below. Also, let me know if I have missed something by making a comment on our blog.
